Hi, sweet friends! I am Flourish, Owner & Pastry Artist of Sweetfairy. I come from a family of chefs, sugar artists, and the best hosts. It wasn’t until 9 years ago that I truly understood what that meant for me. I baked my first ever batch of cupcakes. There was nothing quite like the emotion I felt in that moment. That’s when I knew I was connected to a craft that I’d be really good at if I nurtured it. I peeled back all of the layers. I made some pretty unpleasant desserts. I also made some pretty phenomenal ones that created an emotional response. I was in love, dedicated, and passionate. I turned what started as a serious hobby into a purpose, my why, my literal essence. Today, I take pride in creating a well rounded sweet experience, using flavors that I’ve been inspired by throughout my journey and adding a minimal maximalist flare. I enjoy creating a complex, yet exciting bite. The one where you’ll get a little sweet note, some salty, some bitters, maybe some acid and texture!

A humble collection inspired by the person I grew up seeing in the kitchen all the time—my mother, Sonia. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing her ability to unite people time and time again with her warmth and unique touch. Her attention to detail and fluidity in the kitchen have always been so telling and so fitting. She’s embraced her gifts and excelled when demonstrating how to put your magic to use. With her help and inspiration, Sonita by Sweetfairy was born to make life a little bit smoother for those on the go. To bring a meal full of love, balance, story-telling, and magic to your table, from ours.
